Students in primary education can be divided into two levels of education: from grades I to V, which belong to the ISCED 1 level – Primary education, and from grades VI to IX, which belong to the ISCED 2 level – Lower secondary education, according to the International Standard Classification of Education (ISCED) 2011. Only students in regular primary schools are shown here.

Enrolled students in regular primary schools – total number of students from grades I to IX who are officially enrolled and attending classes in regular primary schools. Students in special primary schools and primary schools for adults are not included.

Students enrolled in secondary education at the beginning of the school year

Enrolled students in regular secondary schools - total number of students who are officially enrolled and attending classes in regular secondary schools. Students in special secondary schools and religious schools are not included.
